HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR HAT SIZE

Use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length. Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8″ above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

Homburg straw hat inspired by the Edwardian-era men's hats of the early 20th century.

This hat is one of my favorites for summer for its elegance and personality. It is a unique and exclusive design made with one of my wooden hatblocks from my collection.
Made with very fine 6/7 millimeter natural straw braid.
The hat is adorned with a 70mm wide black grosgrain ribbon and another small 25mm grosgrain at the end of the hat brim.

The high-quality of the material provides the flexibility, lightness and resistance that this elegant hat deserves.

Measurements in centimeters are 32 x 30. Crown height 10. Brim length 6.6. These measurements may have some slight variation depending on the size of the hat.

For its elaboration we use only a resistant straw braid of very good quality.
In our workshop in the Pyrenees we sew and work one by one our hats with wooden hatblocks of our own design.

Using a tape measure, measure your head about one-half inch above your eyebrows where your hat will rest. Be certain that the tape measure is straight, not twisted. Alternatively, you can use piece of string to measure your head, and then measure the length of the string with a ruler. If you are not certain about size, or are between sizes, buy the larger size.
